I was asked to do a painting for a fundraiser for a documentary on the one and only Divine... Here is the final piece.

Fun Birthday Card
I don't know how the conversation started, but months ago, I wrote down this, "Ladybug in a schnauzer in a shark." It became this. Sorta fun...

Silly Little Painting
This was supposed to be eerie and sweet at the same time - sort of Ryden-esque...and it just turned out simple and amateur. I'm only posting it to show the image under a light which cast crazy shadows on it. Here are the before and after. I much prefer the after...

New Wood Painting
New painting start: pencil on wood - I think this one will be more striking because it will have more detail everywhere - lots of clothing and fabric, which isn't too fun to paint. But when it comes together, it looks great. I think I may add a bird on the back of the chair - haven't decided yet. It's a little hard to see at the moment, but there will be more pencil and then shading in watercolor.

At Least One Post a Month!
At least ONE!
I am at work and waiting for elements - as is often the case when I am compositing. This guy is just a doodle - but I like the angles and the faster/not-overworked lines. I have a longer way to go to get to where I want to be, but I'm doing my thing. I sort of picture him as an early man, post the sloping brow, pre athenian chisel. A little wilder and wispy, but somewhat wiry from the lack of easily-found food. This is all BS - but still, it's fun to use my brain.

Long Legged Lady
Just sitting around and wanting to make something happy - looks too fashion sketch, but I like the twist and turn of the body as well as the hair and the face is sorta happy and ok...
Funny Face
Just another doodle from work hours. I need to focus more on drawing I decided. But I do enjoy taking photos of my drawings and messing with the perspective.
